A Soundboks is a battery-powered speaker loud enough for a garden party, a rooftop or a hall full of people — and light enough that two people can carry it up a staircase. We rent them out across Greater Copenhagen and North Zealand, and we are used to renting to people who have just moved here and do not speak Danish yet.

How it works
Pick your date and time
You choose the day and the time slot yourself. Nobody has to call you back first, and the price covers three days — so a Friday party can be picked up on Thursday and returned on Monday.
Pay online
Card or MobilePay. No deposit, no contract, and you can cancel free of charge. Your receipt arrives by email straight away.
Collect in Herlev — or have it delivered
Pickup at our warehouse in Herlev is free, and we show you how it works before you leave. Delivery to your door costs 999 DKK.
Bring it back — that is all
You do not need to charge it, clean it or pack it in any particular way. Scratches in the paint are not charged for.

Frequently asked questions
Can I rent a Soundboks in Copenhagen without speaking Danish?
Yes. We speak English, and you are welcome to call us on +45 70 60 30 13 or write to info@lejdinlyd.dk. The online booking form itself is in Danish, so if you would rather not work through it, just call and we will book it for you.
How much does it cost to rent a Soundboks?
Rental starts at 399 DKK and covers up to 3 days. One evening costs the same as a full weekend — there is no separate day rate to work out. Delivery costs 999 DKK, and picking it up yourself in Herlev is free.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
No. There is no deposit and no card held on file. You pay the rental price, and that is it.
Where do you deliver?
Greater Copenhagen and North Zealand. We do not ship boxes across the country — we drive it out ourselves and collect it again afterwards, which is why the price covers both journeys.
What do I need to bring?
Nothing. The Soundboks arrives fully charged and tested, and it connects over Bluetooth from any phone. If you want a microphone, a stand or an extra battery, you can add those when you book.
Can I cancel?
Yes, free of charge — including the day before. Plans change, and we would rather you booked early than waited.
